FAQ's Bridal
How Does Your Bridal Service Work?
We offer 3 levels of service;
1. Off the peg gowns
2. Mix & Match the tops and bottoms of dresses
3. A full bespoke service
We work exclusively with our suppliers to create the perfect dress for your body shape, event, budget and personal style.
Firstly, we please contact us to discuss any ideas, pictures, styles that you have in mind (don't worry if you don't know what you're looking for, we will be able to suggest dresses that will work for you through by undertaking your body shape and style).
While going through this exploration process, we will suggest which neckline, waistline and bottom/skirt suits you. We then discuss fabric and/or beading and produce a sketch of your dress.
How Much Will My Dress Cost?
The prices of our ‘off the peg’ bridal dresses can be found on the website, or on each label in-store. The Mix & Match service is based on the cost of the higher-priced dress. Bespoke dresses start from £1,000.
How Long Will My Order Take?
Bridal dresses take 8 months plus. Rush service available.
Will I Need Alterations?
Yes. We take your bust, waist, hips and length measurement as a guide only - this is not made to measure, although is designed to get a closer fit than ordering a standard size. For example, your bust might be closest to a size 10, your waist a 12 and your hips a 14. You might also gain or lose weight, which will mean your dress will need to be altered by your chosen local seamstress.
What Should I Bring to My Fitting?
Please take the bra you'll be wearing on the day or similar (i.e. gel filled, t-shirt, strapless), and the shoes you'll be wearing on the day/what you were measured in (full length dresses only) or very similar. For example, if you're measured in kitten heels and then want to wear 5 inch platforms on the day, your dress will be too short!
